If a non British citizen did apply for a job I would use the bodies within the industry such as the NHF & HABIA to see where I stand in terms of the legislation."

"As we become more of a multinational society, we need to know what verification checks we need to make for all immigrant workers. If nationals from different countries need different checks, then we need to know what they are. Hard copies or examples would be good or an on-line verification process via the immigration service of what documents we/they need to have, giving names & numbers of the required documents."
