Tigi colour club

We quiz Emil McMahon, director of Education for Europe, about the launch of the TIGI Colour Club and what it means for salons’ colour business and profits in 2009

emil2.jpgEmil McMahon, director of education for Europe (salon division) and Sarah Brookes, European Technical Creative Director, who together head up the TIGI Colour creative technical teams across Europe, are totally focused on helping salons increase their colour business and profits for 2009.

One of the ways that they are offering support is through the launch of a new initiative to celebrate the first successful year of TIGI Colour. This new initiative offers salons education, inspiration and information creating a dynamic force for every salon owner and technician.

Here Emil McMahon answers some critical questions to show why every salon should consider becoming part of the TIGI Colour Club.

Q. Firstly, what makes the new TIGI Colour Club different?
A.
The TIGI Colour Club has been designed to offer a different proposal from those that other companies offer. It is fashion -orientated, creatively stimulating, business focused and market driven.

Q. Who is going to be the team behind this?
A.
Like everything at TIGI, the TIGI Colour Club is headed up by Anthony Mascolo and supported by Nick Irwin and the entire TIGI Creative Team, who all provide the absolute in Creative Inspiration. Importantly, Sarah Brookes and the creative technical team will provide Colour Inspiration, backed by my technical team who will add technical support into this mix.

Simon Ostler, aided by Andy Mercer and Ian Harman, will help with business building and ongoing sales, while Phillip Ivaldi will give marketing support and Linda Evans will offer PR advice.

In fact, the entire TIGI team are all excited to be taking part in this project. We believe that getting these TIGI ‘heavy-weights’ behind the project will ensure that salons are given a full picture of how they can develop their colour business, target clients, develop promotions, and help their businesses not only survive but grow.
