Colour removal

Minimum shift of tone:
Solution: TRUE LIGHT CLEANING
1 scoop of TIGI Colour True Light, 60ml warm water, 15ml TIGI Catwalk Sexed Up Shampoo. (This recipe removes some unwanted tone, but won’t lift or affect the natural colour or darker depths.) Next, apply to pre-shampooed damp hair at the backwash area. Then shampoo and condition before colouring with the target shade, if necessary, protecting the root area with a gentle conditioner.

Medium shift of depth and tone:
Solution: TRUE LIGHT CLEANSING
1 scoop of TIGI Colour True Light, 60ml warm water, 15ml TIGI Catwalk Sexed-Up Shampoo plus 30ml TIGI Activator 8.5vol 2.55%. Apply to pre-shampooed hair at the backwash area.
This recipe helps remove unwanted depth and tone, and dependent on the condition, texture and porosity of the hair, removes approximately 1 to 1.5 levels of artificial depth/tone, again, protecting the root area with conditioner if necessary.

Maximum shift of depth and tone:
Solution: TRUE LIGHT LIFTING
Use TIGI Colour True Light with the appropriate TIGI colour Activator for controlled lift of unwanted depth and tone.
Apply to dry hair and develop as normal, then shampoo and condition before colouring the hair with the target shade.

Dark Bands with uneven colour:
Solution: TIGI Colour Creative 10/0 Natural Extra Light Blonde
To remove uneven bands of colour, use TIGI colour Creative 10/0 with 20 vol 6%. Apply to dry hair on the uneven areas, and leave for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or longer if necessary. Then remove about 90% of the product from the hair using a wide-toothed comb and apply the target shade over the top of the remaining product, developing the colour as normal.
