Champagne and
fine dining!
In true SALON SMART style, there was plenty of time to network! On Sunday evening, the Champagne reception was the perfect chance to catch-up with colleagues, get to know fellow delegates and meet SALON SMART’s amazing speakers and sponsors. Then came a sumptuous three-course dinner, where we felt a fabulous buzz in the air – and Creative HEAD publisher, Catherine Handcock, presented Lindsay Burr, of Goodys in Malton, with a surprise gift to celebrate her newly acclaimed MBE status for services to the hairdressing industry.

He’s one of the UK’s most exciting hairdressers – an exceptional colourist, stylist, salon owner and showman, Mark Leeson delivered a sensational hair show featuring four jaw-dropping looks mastering the art of crimping, shape, volume, finishing – and, new to Mark’s repertoire, dip-dying! Studded with expert styling tips and tricks, it was a mesmerising 60 minutes. Post-show, delegates were then able to head on to the bar to meet the man of the moment and paw over his beautiful creations before partying late into the night!
