In the busy day-to-day of running a business (and sometimes a personal clientele), salon owners are sometimes frustrated with the lack of connection with their staff. Many chalk this up to an age difference or simply think that the team is not enthusiastic about the salon or their own careers. Often, the reason is that there is not a strong enough emotional bond between the employees and the business.

We have all experienced situations where we go above and beyond for a person, organisation or business based on the connection we feel for it. This is the difference between a job and a passion, or a trip and an adventure. Most of the people on your team want to love their job, and their salon, and are searching out the same connection that the owner is seeking.
