Get a training plan
5) Build in time for each training session to be reviewed afterwards.
6) Finalise which training you what to have achieved and by when.
7) Commit to taking some time to research how, where and when this training can be accessed and delivered.
8) Draw up a plan with the team members name and timelines, list the training sessions that have been decided and the objectives that need to achieved.
Once you have this plan it needs to presented and agreed to by the salon owner and the team member, it becomes a commitment from both parties.
9) Place this plan either in the team member’s personal file, or if you can on the staff room wall, this keeps the commitments fresh in everyone’s minds.
10) Mark off each training/objective as it is reached, review the results and schedule time to create the new plan no later than three quarters of the way into the first plan.
