Behind the scenes diary of an Ascot fashion show!

lightsjuly5.jpg Thursday June 19: Day 4
I realised that there was a Starbucks just up the road from our suite, so after I got my security wrist band I went to get coffee and pastries for everyone.  It was nice to have a change from the routine, and I was feeling quiet today, after a heavy day and night last night.  I finished work went back to the Uni and fell asleep listening to Barbra Streisand.

Friday June 20: Day 5
Feeling great today. Only 58 buns to go! The models are getting tired now but are really nice and patient and they just put up with it. We are working really well with the makeup team, and this is really important as we have to work around each other and consideration is key. Back on the champagne today! The buffet was amazing and to the highest standard. Vicky who looks after our catering needs is fabulous and pulls out all the stops for us – king prawns, salmon, rare roast beef, fresh asparagus, salads, and lots more.

Saturday June 21: The last day!

Nice to know that it is the last show and that it will soon be home time! I have had a blast and I know that Jazz has really enjoyed the experience. At times there was some pressure –  for example updos in seven minutes! But it has been a real honour to work with the people that were involved and the team spirit has been fantastic. The Rah company were professional and treated us very well for the whole week. My team and I can't wait for the next project. But for now I need to have some well-deserved sleep!  endbullit.gif
