The importance of self esteem
This is a great way to start seeing how you each really see yourselves and how others see you.
This then gives you the opportunity to change or accept the things you may not like about yourself but more importantly, use the skills you already have more often and not to be too modest.
Once you feel good about yourself you can look for the good in others and give positive comments to them to help them feel better/confident in themselves. This goes towards working better as a team and helps people respect one another. None of us separately knows everything but collectively with respect and understanding we can be stronger.
So when a team member is feeling a little down or lacks confidence, all you need do is look for the positives and share that point with them to help lift their self esteem.
If you can do that with your colleagues THEN you can do that with your customers who have come to you – The Professional – for your expert advice to help them feel better about themselves.
Our industry is proven to be very important by the way we can change people’s lives by changing the way they look and feel. It is so personal and PRICELESS.
Never underestimate the importance of helping your customers look and feel good!
But you can only do that when you look and feel good yourself.
